There are times where i will charge by the job and not by the hour.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I recently opened my own business in May 2018, which entailed of grocery shopping and running errands for clients. Within two weeks time, I was detailing cars, pet sitting, planning parties, etc.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently did a wedding. I have a service for my business called a “Wedding Runner”, which is a ‘day of’ person who runs any last minute errands, gets food for bride/groom, helps set up, picks up trash and stays until the event is over. I did a backyard wedding/reception that was so laid back. It was a 10 hour job but it was well worth it. As long as the clients aka bride/groom can enjoy their day and not have to worry about anything, than my day is made!
