FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is subject to change due to the products and services the individual client needs, travel/distance (if I am coming to you), online or in-person, gym fee's etc. I ask budget up front and we come up with the best plan of action using my professional recommendation. I can make any budget work. I also offer discounted prices if you let me use your before/after pictures as promotion.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost we will discuss your goals and budget for training and nutrition coaching. I will give you my professional recommendation on which services you will need. If you want in-home/gym training I will conduct a fitness assessment as well as a postural/movement assessment to see if you have any muscular imbalances or postural deviations which can affect your training. From there I will design your program according to your goals, past exercise history, etc. Everything I do is CUSTOMIZED which is very important for a customer to understand. I take into account stress, sleep, activity level, rest & recovery. From there I want weekly check-in's every where you will send me pictures, measurements and update me on how you are feeling with your training and nutrition. Adjustments do your plan will be made accordingly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began training in 2009 by getting certified as a trainer though the Navy Fitness training (Non-nationally recognized) and was in charge of ensuring every marine and sailor passed their quarterly fitness assessments. I have extensive experience training large groups with high energy. In 2011, I decided to become Nationally Certified so I would be able to train civilian personnel/military family members and was also certified as an Exercise Nutrition coach. I became intrigued with training and wanted to soak up as much knowledge as I could. I didn't want to have to turn down a client due to lack of education therefore, I studied Youth Fitness, Senior Fitness, Strength and Conditioning, and Exercise Therapy. By obtaining this many certificates I was awarded my Elite and Master Trainer Certifications. In 2014, I was certified in a second nutrition course from Precision Nutrition. In 2017, I officially became certified through National Sports Science Academy for Corrective Exercise (for those who have been injured), Performance Enhancement (for athletes looking to fine tune speed, agility, quickness, power, balance, stability etc.) & Behavior Change (how to work well with different personality types and which type of coaching is most effective for the client) CPR/AED
