Introduction: Transit Salon Hair & Nails was founded in August 26, 2015 on the northeast side of San Antonio. Transit Salon is an organic-focused hair salon that is using certified organic Surface styling products, Organic CurlSystems perming solutions, Keragreen Keratin treatments, and Original Mineral hair color (100% vegan, cruelty free and certified by PETA). Some specialties are ombre and balayage highlighting, as well as urban haircutting for men and women. For shellac/manicures and pedicures, each client has his/her own personal nail file, foot scrub and disposable Footsie bath container to upkeep sanitation. The best nail products are also used so the polish stays on strong, and a soothing organic sugar scrub and organic coconut oil is used for a relaxing message. At Transit Salon Hair & Nails, each customer is provided with meticulous attention in achieving their style needs without the feel of being rushed. Customer satisfaction is a top priority!

I have thick hair that requires a specialist. I am also into less chemicals. I am pleased to have found the right pro stylist. She's sweet, great in what she does and I am grateful to have found her.

Well, I'd gone to two other salons for a trial run for my bridal updo before finding Sharon. The first was a disaster, and the second simply missed the mark. I came to Sharon with a few inspiration pics and a vague description of what I wanted; "off my neck, but not high. Soft, romantic, with a vintage feel." She absolutely nailed it. She did my makeup as well, and, of course, it was perfect. I've never felt more beautiful. I will definitely be going back. Highly recommend!

I was recommended to Sharon by my photographer Sonia and she was absolutely amazing. I did a trial with her for my wedding hair, and even went and got my haircut from her in which she did an incredible job. On the day of my wedding, Sonia did my hair, a bridesmaids hair, and my flower girls hair - they were all so beautiful!! I would hire her a million times over and would suggest her to anyone!
