Introduction: I am a graphic and web designer with a strong visual arts background, looking to gain experience in the UX/UI design industry. My passion for this industry stems from my love for the visual arts and fascination with technology and the internet. Growing up I was surrounded by art, gallery visits, and museums. Having previously shown my work in gallery exhibitions, I have found a happy medium where I can apply my love for art and design and my interest in technology.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in graphic and web design from The Art Institute. I have experience in both print and digital media, knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Audition, Premiere and After Effects. I also enjoy the design challenge of creating digital pieces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and frameworks like Bootstrap. My front-end web development knowledge allows me to translate designs into code and successfully accomplish multi-media projects.
My design process allows me to be able to research and work closely with people. Being dedicated to clients, I am passionate about building projects that will enhance work relationships alongside professionals, therefore communication is key in both verbal and aesthetic approaches. Along with communication, the user experience is a priority in all of my multi-media designs and interactions.
