- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
SBB Handyman Division is transparent with our pricing. We have a minimum charge for 8 hours. Carpenters including drywall/painting get paid $40-45/hr Structural or Specialized Carpentry $50/hr Plumbers get paid $55/hr Electricians get paid $60/hr Our markup is the following: 10% workers comp & general liability 10% overhead 40% profit Any material needed for a job will be paid by client including a $1/mile reimbursement to retrieve materials & 10% markup on cost of materials. Client will be billed for any additional hours that are required to complete the job at a 50% markup per hour rather than the 60% required for the initial 8 hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a customer contacts SkyBlue Builders Inc., they will receive a response within 24 to 48 hours. Our customer satisfaction in our work and service is the key reason we grew in business for the past 20 years.
