Marylou is absolutely wonderful to work out with and her classes are great too! I have taken a variety of her classes including workout classes, fitness bootcamp, yoga and a prenatal exercise and nutrition class for women planning on conceiving or who are already pregnant. Marylou is very knowledgeable in health/wellness, fitness, nutrition and in prenatal health as well. Marylou is very encouraging and a great motivator. She also has a very calming presence, and I always feel comfortable working out with her. She gently helps me correct my moves and realign my body to the position it should be in. I highly recommend Marylou to anyone who is looking to get healthier and commit to their health!

After attempting numerous methods I found myself unable to achieve and maintain a healthy figure and tone after giving birth to my first child. After spending only a month with Mary Lou I not only saw impressive measurable results but with her guidance and incomparable attention I feel and look great. She helped me regain the confidence I so greatly missed and had such a difficult time maintaining on a daily basis. She instilled a very high level of motivation in me through our sessions and countless moments of conversation and guidance. Her attention to detail and level of intensity is rarely matched I'm sure and one that I hadn't and don't think I'll find elsewhere. Thank you so much Mary Lou!! You made a believer out of me! I have so much energy and motivation, and I hold myself so much higher and I owe it all to you. I hope this review reaches many others like me who are in need of someone with such an amazing skill as you so greatly posses. I started working out with Marylou around week 10 of my second pregnancy. Before working out with Marylou I had been very inconsistent with exercise (once a week at the most) for the previous 1+ year following the birth of my first child. I really enjoyed and benefited from working with Marylou. I valued her approach that starts with one's posture / overall body strength balance; and had virtually no backaches through my pregnancy. In contrast, during my first pregnancy I worked out more often (mostly jogging and yoga) and started from a far fitter base but still felt more strain on my back. She gave me the balance of efficiently building strength while ensuring I was not over-straining myself. She is highly knowledgeable and was constantly making sure exercises were achieving their objectives, all while keeping workouts varied. Most of all I really looked forward to seeing her every week, given her sincere, engaging and warm personality. Engaging Marylou was definitely a great decision. She works with men and women and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to build strength and fitness!

My husband and I (both in our late twenties) have never seriously considered having a personal trainer, however Marylou has been so awesome to work with that we have decided to continue on with our training. We originally signed up for one month to help me safely gain back leg and core muscle after a lengthy knee surgery recovery. While we both have very different goals and needs (My husband has been focused on upper body / core.), Marylou has put together awesome programs for both of us that have us seeing results after just one month of working with her! She’s also been able to swing it so that we arrive together, and one does their workout while the other focuses on cardio/ stretching and then we switch. This has been great because it allows us to go together, even though we are at different places and focus on different areas. On a personal level, she’s been great to work with and is very supportive during the workouts. She’ll push you, but safely and with support. She’s also just fun to hang out with ? Our experience has included: • Initial meet and greet where she does a body / posture assessment. (Bonus points for focusing on posture!) You’ll also do a light workout to gage where you are. • Discussion of personal goals and some areas she thinks you should focus on as well. • From there, she puts together a program specific to you. We honestly cannot say enough great things. If you’re considering starting a personal training program – we highly recommend meeting with Marylou for an assessment!
