Introduction: I have been teaching French for many years now. Currently I have 10 students aged 5 to 70 years of age. They are all very comfortable with me, for I have a very friendly personality! Learning French is difficult but I always manage to make my sessions both interesting and stimulating. Beginners won't be bored with grammar and advanced students will have the chance to practice what they already know and learn new material. I love teaching and seeing my students improving is vey important to me. Every lesson is unique and connects me with my students on various levels. Some concepts are hard to teach, and depending on the culture of origin of each student I need to adjust and find the right approach. This is where my degree in psychology comes handy!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I evaluate the student and discuss his /her goals and expectations. A plan is then proposed and we can start to have some fun!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a native speaker born in Lyon (French Alps). I lived in France and Switzerland for 30+ years, then moved to the United States some twenty years ago. I earned a Bachelor's degree in psychology and is currently working on a Master's degree in French Literature at San Diego State University.
