Introduction: Salsa Steel works with only the best musicians & dancers in Southern California. The band is located in San Diego and includes talent from around the world. We perform a wide variety of music including World Beat, Jazz, Classical, Variety, Renaissance and more. Our instrumentation includes steel drums, vocals, marimba & woodwinds (great option for Classical, Variety & Latin music), or vibraphone for Jazz. We have Fire Limbo and Latin dance shows. Our dancers will lead group participation in conga lines, limbo & Salsa dancing. I would like to tell anyone looking for a professional and talented person, duo, or group of musicians to enhance or lead an event to look no further Bill Harris can most certainly fill the bill for you. Bill & Stephanie individually or as a duo have been and continue to entertain my clients and guests for a couple of years now. They are currently performing weekly here for me at the Old town Tequila Factory. They do a fantastic job jamming on the Steel Drums on our outside patio or moving inside to the enclosed patio for a lighter marimba and oboe sound. Bill has also taken care of our needs for our special events and on location catering functions. Bill and Stephanie have performed in period costume for us at Christmastime performing music and singing carols looking like they just stepped out of a Norman Rockwell painting. Bill has also brought in additional drummers, guitarists, and a bassist to make the band for our event at the Sheriffs Museum. They are great performers and truly great people. I always look forward to the next appearance.

Bill Harris and salsa steel always provide top notch entertainment at a great value. Whether my event is inside or out by the pool salsa still delivers. It must be that people pleasing music and sound of a steel drum played by a master Bill Harris.

Generally $250-$300 a man and bump for me as a leader fee and flexible to make the job doable.

Many years of experience playing with amazingly talented people, several degrees, and number 10 on the fun scale.
