Luis's brand of humor takes audiences just on the edge of mania. He somehow manages to weave the personal with the political, in a unifying way rather than divisive. He drops the bombs of plain old truth shared through his angst filled stage persona. He seems so comfortable with the discomfort of his own conflicting emotions, that you have to laugh with relief, because he makes your neurosis feel natural. Then he adds his hilarious physicality to fuel the funny fire. Like Justin Timberlake, Luis has that rare ability to be sexy, funny and poignant. I've been a fan of his from the beginning.
