FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For Vedrene's Genuine Cleaning the standard pricing system is charged by the square footage of a commercial building. For example, if a commercial building that's 1000-2000 square feet only requires a one time cleaning job, then the rate is 0.20 cents per square footage. Ex: 0.20*1100=$220. If a commercial building that's 1000-2000 square feet required a recurring cleaning service the amount will drop to 0.15 cents per square footage depending on the frequency. For instance, an office of 1300 square feet that requires a service FOUR days a week, the rate would be 0.15*1300=$195 a week. Ultimately the monthly charge would be $780/month. A commercial building that requires a recurring service will receive a 20% discount as a first time customer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It depends on whether a customer requires a recurring/one time cleaning service for their commercial building or a move in/move out cleaning service. Typically for a commercial cleaning service I'd ask for the customer's name first for the sake of being personable. Then I'd ask questions such as what type of commercial building they have, the location, the size, the frequency of required cleaning, number of bathrooms, floors, windows etc,. Then I'd ask to receive a tour of the building that I'm cleaning so that I know what working with. I would also give them a quote and let them know about discount policy and if my service is needed, I'd have a contract with this potential client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have received housekeeping training as well as training cleaning restaurant sized kitchens in New York state as well as San Diego, California. I also have experience performing move in/move out cleaning services. I have also been trained with regards to cleaning convention hall buildings on numerous occasions, more particularly every spring and summer. In the past I've also volunteered to work with a cleaning crew at Qualcomm Stadium (San Diego Chargers Football stadium). The following cleaning techniques that I perform includes disinfecting surface tops, cleaning around desks area, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning mirrors, dusting, cleaning windows from inside, emptying trash/replacing trash bags, cleaning baseboard edges, deoderize, and sweeping/mopping/vacuuming.
