FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm here to serve and I like to work within a group's budget, especially for groups that have a great cause I believe in. At the same time, I know the value I bring to the table, so I can't always take the engagement, but everything is negotiable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to fully understand the objective of the group leader to ensure that I am the best fit for them before accepting a speaking engagement. To accomplish this, I like to ask the question of "what would you like your group or audience to walk away with at the end of the event?" In other words, "what would you want your group members to say to you about what they got from the event as a result of my presence there?" This can generally be accomplished through a brief phone or in-person conversation to get acquainted and ensure we have a fit on both sides.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Starting off in Corporate America and grad school, and then on to sales organizations and building my own businesses as an entrepreneur, I have been speaking to colleges, corporations, community groups, sales teams, and non profits for the past 11 years. Besides my extensive academic education, I've invested approximately $100,000 in personal and professional development and I've been trained by some of the top speakers, sales trainers, and thought leaders in the world.
