Christy worked well with my daughter and I to stop fighting all of the time. She also worked individually with my daughter. She had the best year ever in school, started making better choices with friends and now feels great about herself.Jan 17, 2017
Christy George's gentle, but effective, approach to her work really resonates with me. No judgment. No confrontation. Just a caring person with a gift for getting results. -- J. BrownJan 17, 2017

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have a set rate for individuals, and a slightly higher rate for couples and families. This rate is for a 55 minute session in my office, by telephone, online or meeting for a walk and talk session. In special situations, I may offer an adjusted rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I conduct a brief telephone consultation before the meeting to connect with a new client. The first session, or few sessions will be spent getting to know more about you, and why you are seeking therapy. We will then develop a general plan of treatment together to help you reach your goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist with a Master of Arts Counseling degree. I have also completed 216 hours of additional training, for trauma and have certification as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. My experience has been gained working for two non profit agencies, in a residential treatment facility and with high needs children, teens and families in a community and school setting, in addition to opening my own private practice where I work with children, teens, adults, couples and families.
