FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
****Notice***** The studio is currently on hiatus, not accepting new students until Sept. 2017. Please check back if you are still interested. Thank you and apologies for the inconvenience. *****
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For most students, I recommend an initial consultation lesson of at least one half hour. We will work together, have a good time getting to know each other, and along the way I will make an assessment of the student's current skill set. At the end of the consultation I'll gather input on the student's goals and interests and give a picture of what our work together might look like. There is no pressure to schedule right away and I encourage students to seek out the "right fit" for their vocal studies, whether that is with me or someone else.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an undergraduate degree in Vocal Music and Theater performance, graduate studies in Opera and Voice and extensive additional training through resident artist programs, summer programs, workshops and individual study with top level professionals during my years in New York City. I was active as a professional classical vocalist for 15 years, but my background includes musical theater, choral conducting, classical acting techniques and stage direction.
