Molding or baseboards,
A week ago, my master bathroom shower was torn back to the studs, and ready for re-modeling. I had intended on tiling it myself, but I’d never tiled anything before and was running out of time as my vacation was quickly coming to a close. I contacted David, he told what to buy, where to buy it, and gave provided a fair estimate on labor. Within the span of three days time, it was done and ready for a sliding glass door to be installed.Jan 14, 2019Verified
So often on Thumbtack, people don’t show up or fail to give a quote. Dave showed up on time, provided a fast quote, and was hired right away. He always showed up on time, kept me informed on the project, and did an exemplary job. It is clear why he’s a top pro, his professionalism and work was effortless and excellent. I give him the highest recommendation.Jul 26, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Most work is done by flat rate per job. Below are some pricing guidelines I use Wall tile installation $20-40 per sq ft Floor tile installation $5-7 per sq ft Interior painting labor $1-2 per sq ft Case & Base install $3-5 per linear ft General labor $50-75per hour Skilled labor $85-110 per hour All projects subject to minimums I offer discounts on larger jobs I offer discounts for cash payment
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First we need to know the scope of work. On small jobs this can be done with pics or by messaging online. For remodels we complete a brief walkthrough so we understand just what the client is wanting the completed project to be. Next, we provide the quote, accept a deposit and schedule the dates to complete the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I began in construction over 20 years ago when I went to trade school. I then worked as a union carpenter framing residential homes. I moved on to working with crews that completed all aspects to of home building. In time I began working for myself remodeling, purchasing and flipping.
