- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $40/30 min lessons, $60/45 min lessons and you may pay as you go (cash only for this method), or you may pay for a lesson package of 6 or 12 lessons. If you pay for a lesson package up front you will receive a discount of 3% for 6 lessons and 5% for 12 lessons. You may pay by cash, PayPal, or cashiers check to receive this discount.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I provided private ocean swimming lessons to a 7 year old boy. His mother works for a company where she is assigned to travel to Hawaii often, so she often takes her son with her. She wanted him to be able to safely swim in the ocean in Hawaii so she hired me to provide the lessons for him. She bought him a wetsuit at my recommendation, we took to the ocean for a series of lessons and he exceeded my expectations! Within 3 lessons he began diving under waves and bodyboarding the small waves. I also taught him the basics of how to look at the water and see rip currents, and other tidal and surf zone trends. He was doing a happy dance the whole time he was in the water and it was just pure joy to watch and experience, a true peak swim teaching experience.
