FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master’s of Education in TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages) (M.Ed) and a certificate in TESOL.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Adults from many different countries, college students in Korea, and native-speaking high school students studying college-level reading and writing.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Experience is important but a connection is vital. In other words, yes, it’s good if a teacher has a lot of experience, but I think its equally (if not more) important that you like the teacher and feel comfortable with them. I recommend exchanging a few messages with the teacher and then asking if the teacher would do a free trial lesson (I offer those!). Then, if you enjoy speaking with the teacher and you think their style would be a good match for you, then you may have found a winner!
