- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally try to price myself 10-30% below other professional competition.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was 12, I begged my parents to buy me a digital camera. At the time, it was a very basic 1MP Kodak with three buttons - a shutter, on/off switch, and play button to view images on the 1" screen. I was totally sucked into photography, though, and immersed myself in books and classes over the years. I began shooting professionally in college, and expanded from doing senior portraits to live music to serious paid gigs for major organizations to engagements to weddings.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with corporate and private individuals. Notable past clients include: Nike, MKTG Inc., Hargrove Inc, United Service Organizations (USO), Opower Inc, Hattaway Communications, Stones' Phones, The Wexner Center for the Arts, The University of Akron, The Ohio State University, Akron Early College, Columbus Monthly, Ohio Rocks, as well as close to a hundred couples and individuals who needed portrait or event photography.
