FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Step 1 - Garment Selection We speak about your garments. The color and fabric of your garment are an important consideration when making your selection. Fabric textures and weights affect how your design is digitized for our embroidery machines. As an added service benefit, clients can provide us with garments purchased from any vendor of their choice. Determine the color, size and quantity necessary of each garment. Also note thread colors you would like to use for your design. Designate an area on the garment where your design will be embroidered. We can help you find the garments you may want to decorate on. This service is available at your request. Step 2 - Submit Your Design for Review Embroidered designs and logos have some limitations and follow certain parameters to reproduce correctly. In order to preserve the integrity of your design, a review by our digitizing department is required. There are several options available for embroidered garments. Choose a type that suits your needs. - Full, custom embroidered logos, designs or art - Personalized garments (name, initials) - Tackle Twill Appliqué Lettering - 3-D Embroidery - Submit the best quality design you have available for review by our digitizing department. For best results, supply your design at the exact size or larger that it will be when reproduced and with the exact colors your prefer. You can also specify your colors using the Pantone Matching System. Step 3 - Quoting Your Order Determining the cost of a custom embroidery job will vary with each order because every design or logo is different from the other. There are also many other factors involved to deliver an order according to a client's specifications. Below are some pricing guidelines that will help you estimate the cost of your order. Generally, the larger and more complex the design, the higher the cost. A firm, written quote will be provided after submission of your design, garment selections, and shipping and packing requirements. This quote will be honored for a period of up to 30 days. Garments Price will be based on style and quantity ordered. Please call for more information. Digitizing Fee Minimum: $45/design Retail Embroidery Pricing Guide The prices below apply to order quantities under 12 pcs. Please call for wholesale pricing or larger order quantities. Logo Size Stitch Count Small Under 5,000 Medium 5,000 to 10,000 Large 10,000 to 15,000 Personalization Letter height up to 1", text length up to 5". Call for additional information on personalizations. As a general rule, a larger, more detailed logo or design will require more stitches and increase the cost of the order. Step 4 - Digitize Your Design In order to embroider a design onto a garment the image must first be digitized. Digitizing a design converts your art into an embroidery-ready file format. Once your design is reviewed and you have accepted our quote, the digitizing process can begin. Our digitizers use computer software to help them accurately convert your image into a pattern of stitches that our embroidery machines can read. They strive to maintain the integrity of your logo while keeping the stitch count low. Keeping the stitch count low helps to keep the cost of your order down. After your image has been digitized, a stitch out is created. It is then scanned and e-mailed to you in JPEG format for your review and approval. If you prefer, you can visit our office to review your stitch out. A stitch out can also be mailed to you for an added charge. An approval signature will be required to complete your order. Mailing Your Stitch Out: $10.00 per sample plus postage. Step 5 - Production Your order is now ready to enter production. A 50% deposit is required for production to begin. Instructions are taken straight from your written quote. The embroidery-ready file is sent over to our embroidery machines. Garments are mounted onto hoops that precisely hold them where needed while your design is being stitched. Expect your order to be completed on average between 7-21 days. Changes To Your Order Client changes to an order are accommodated as much as possible. Changes to an order must be submitted in writing by email, signed and dated by the client. Changes may delay and increase the cost of your order. Changes to an order by a client are subject to additional charges. Step 6 - Production Complete After production, your order is double checked for quality and accuracy. You may schedule a pick up your order or have it shipped for an additional fee. Payment Payment in full is expected when services are rendered. Credit card information can be given to us by telephone or email. You will not be charged for backordered items until they are shipped.
