I am an advocate and Pro for Thumbtack and hired Kayla for my boyfriend to prepare his apartment before his family came to town. The tasks were vague to start, but she acted as our personal assistant for 3 days since we have extremely busy schedules. She organized his place, put items in storage, set up the guest bedroom, grocery shopped, and minitored the cleaner. She was able to check in 2 different flights for our visitors and manage their airport Uber pick ups remotely, as well as managing some personal emails. She was able to provide an array of dinner reservation options and book them. The special touches were noticed, such as; putting stemmed glasses for the white wine in the freezer, checking in on our hired cleaner, organizing closet space in the guest bedroom and setting up their Netflix. Kayla was trustworthy, asked the right questions, and was very efficient! It is definitely worth hiring a pro to take the stress off your plate when having visitors, will hire her again in a month before more company.

My home office needed organizing, and badly. Kayla came in, looked around, and got things going right away. She is efficient and works quickly. It also helped that she is very personable and easy to work with. She's coming back next week and I trust we'll get a great deal done. Kayla, was perfect, as we have a special needs dog and another one that was very young and had pee issues - she had followed our care instructions as needed. We cam e home to a happy household. The dogs were treated with love and care. She also sent photos of our kids via SMS to keep the connection alive for us, as we were on vacation.

    I recently graduated with a Master's Degree in Museum Studies. I focused on collections and project management. I am very passionate about organizing and planning objects, projects, events, etc. I am also the Office Manager at an optician's office, so I work hard daily to plan and execute organizational systems to create a seamless ordering process for our patients. I have created many lifelong patients by eliminating errors with orders and ensuring our patients receive the utmost quality and customer service.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I feel like I was born to organize. It is where I feel the most confident, the most comfortable, and it's where I do my best work. Creating order eliminates any stress I may be having and brings me peace of mind. I also strive to make people happy. So I work hard to make sure everyone leaves in a better mood than when I first saw them. I incorporate this mindset in planning events and work to create stress-free and unforgettable events.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I have worked with a wide range of customers, from doctors, to techies, to single moms. I love meeting new people and working with people of all kinds.
