Introduction: I have an extensive, in-depth understanding and experience working with individuals and couples around issues regarding addiction, trauma/PTSD, depression & anxiety, as well as issues regarding relationship negotiation, conflict resolution, communication, sex, sexuality and intimacy. This allows for my clients to feel understood and safe while addressing these issues. It is important to have a therapist who understands both personally, professionally and academically. One should never feel judged nor shamed while addressing their sexual interests, sexuality, intimacy, depression, relationship struggles nor addictions. The opportunity to work with individuals and couples navigate through their struggles in order to find a solution, understand that change is possible and that there is hope. I focus on self-understanding, individual strengths, developing stronger communication and coping skills. My approach is very interactive, collaborative, eclectic and engaging. I believe that therapy is a partnership. Nobody should have to struggle with any of these issues alone.
