Introduction: After many years of being a student of yoga practicing different styles I decided that I wanted to pursue teaching others what yoga is all about. Breathwork, Mindfulness, Alignment, and Awareness are the main keys to advancing into poses. I can teach most styles of yoga as well as incorporate a fusion of Pilates, even a Barre format that will burn fat and tone muscle can be offered to complement the yoga practice. Strength & Stretch are Equally Important. I'm a Level 2 Reiki Healer and will offer massage in Savasana. My experience has been diverse, from working with older women who need to alleviate stress as well as yogis who are practicing handstands, backbends, arm balances, etc. My personalized service will cater to where you are in your practice and I love to give homework! Yoga and Wellness go hand in hand. The true purpose of yoga is to prolong life. It's about more than just the physical, it speaks to the spiritual and mental aspects of ourselves. I'm currently reading Light on Yoga and The Autobiography of a Yogi which bring together a fuller understanding of this ancient way of life. I love it when my students have that aha moment and feel a difference in their body. Yoga is Healing!
