Introduction: BloomWest grew out of a love of gardening from my parents. With a background in product design, floral design was a natural career transition for me. After working in Account Management in the tech industry for 8 years, I have an exceptional track record of professionalism and client management. I know how stressful planning a wedding can be and I like to think my beautiful designs combined with my excellent communication and collaboration can help take some of that stress away. Cost of my wedding packages generally start around $3,500. This is a standard rate for a bridal party of 1-6 and about 120 guests.

Shayna was amazing to work with (no surprise there)! She did the floral arrangements for my spring baby shower and they were perfection! The perfect decoration for my shower and punctuated the beauty of the venue. She thoughtfully put together the blooms based on our collaborative ideas; all of my guests swooned over them! She was so helpful in providing her ideas and the arrangements couldn’t have been more beautiful. Not to mention Shayna is an absolute pleasure to work with - always very responsive and attentive. I would recommend working with her for any occasion!

BloomWest provided the flowers for our fiesta themed, co-ed baby shower and it all looked great! Shayna was super responsive at first inquiry and sent along several ideas to get my opinion which I appreciated. With the ranch setting in mind, she was creative in incorporating different types of plants (cactus, succulents, accent flowers that pop) and the variety of arrangements really livened up the tables, cocktail barrels and bar. Shayna and I clicked pretty early on - while I was worried that a) I didn't know what I want and b) what I want, was out of budget, Shayna was able to really deliver on all fronts. Despite having not met Shayna face to face until the day of the wedding, Shayna helped me create a beautiful ceremony with a blossoming arch, cocktail hour and reception flowers. People had an amazing time, and it felt plentiful in terms of volumes of flowers. Shayna also nailed the color scheme, when I wasn't even sure what I wanted. I can't thank Shayna enough for allowing us to have such a beautiful day, and setting up everything / taking everything down without completely breaking our bank. Who would've thought it was possible?? Thank you Shayna!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$3,500 - $10,000 depending on size of wedding and types of arrangements/decor. I do not charge for delivery within 50 miles of San Francisco. I also not charge a service/set up fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first like to get as many details about your wedding as possible - guests count, size of bridal party, style of bridal gown/bridesmaids dresses, time of year, venue, etc. From there I work with my couples to find designs that they like so I can put together some mock ups. After that I will see you at the wedding with the final product!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an extensive background in art and design with a degree in Product Design from Syracuse University. I have also completed the Design Start Comprehensive class with Michael Gaffney
