Studied Music Theory, Classical Guitar, and Electronic Music and San Jose City College. 24+ years of self-taught guitar instruction. Self-Taught in Recording and Mixing.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Please have an idea of what you're looking for before hiring me. I need to know what your expectations are, and I can tailor my work to fit accordingly.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
In the case of Guitar Lessons I believe in practical application of all techniques and theory, so please have a few song in mind that you'd want to learn, and I can explain the theory behind it. For recording projects, I prefer some kind of demo, even if it's just a quick and dirty 2-track room recording, as I tend to learn better by ear. If you have sheet music/lead sheets available, I will gladly accept those as well as it does give me a better picture of the whole song.
