FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our hourly rate for 2 movers is $95 per hour. Our hourly rate for 3 movers is $125 per hour. Our hourly rate for 4 movers is $165 per hour. There is a flat $90 insurance fee that covers any furniture damage or breakage costs. There is a $55 truck fee for people moving less than 20 miles away which covers gas and reservation of the truck. If you are moving farther than 20 miles, the truck fee is $55 plus $1.50 per mile for every mile after the first 20. We have all tools necessary to disassemble and reassemble any type of furniture. We also have furniture protection supplies to wrap your furniture and protect it from damage. Our tools and furniture protection supplies are completely free. For Property Removal, our prices depend on the amount of property, junk, or furniture to be thrown away. Also, pricing depends on the kind of items to be removed. For example, removing furniture is usually much quicker and easier than construction debri. It is much better to get a free in-home estimate in order to give a more accurate price. Sometimes estimates are not necessary if the removal is small. For small removals, all I need is pictures of the items to give you a quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Normally, I speak with the customer over the phone to know more details about the service he or she needs. After speaking to the customer, usually I provide a free in-home estimate in order to give a more accurate quote. Then, we schedule a day and time for the moving or service needed. On the day of the service, we send you a text 30 minutes before we arrive to ensure everything runs smoothly and accordingly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After working for my father for about 5 years, I took over the business as he was no longer able to work due to an injury. I felt confident in managing the business because I shadowed him throughout the time that I worked for him. Fortunately, our business continues to grow rapidly and I'm very proud of the team that I have built. Moving property requires extreme responsibility and cautiousness which is why we instruct our employees to learn all the appropriate ways to pack, wrap, load, carry, and transport small and heavy items.
