It is rare to find professionals who call you and follow up when they say they are going to. Michael at Vulcan did just that. He showed up when he said he would or called if he was going to be late. He provided a quote, did the work, and billed according to the quote. I would use them again!Jul 17, 2018Verified

Garage door motor was not opening my garage door. The Vulcan Technician showed up a little early, was very polite and professional. He did a full inspection of the door and found out my spring was broke. Turns out, we have 4 springs. We replaced them all and also the rollers. The motor was fine. My garage door never ran so quietly and I can actually lift it myself now. Great job, Vulcan.Jan 23, 2018

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Prices are difficult to quote over the phone so most companies charge a service charge to come to your home. We charge $89 for a service charge but if you get the work done we give $44 off.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We always do a full inspections of door parts and the motor so we can determine any problems. Don't be offended if you say"Its my motor" and we still do the full inspection. Motors typically stop working or break when the garage door itself has problems. Like most garage door companies, we expect payment when work is completed that day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have 24 years experience as a General contractor, HVAC, and Garage Door Contractor. Our senior technicians each have over 10 years experience servicing, repairing garage door gates and motors and have completed training with IDA (International Door Association). If we install a door for you a senior tech or myself will come visit and ensure the installation is completed properly. Remember, many contractors pay SUBS to do their installations.
