- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To get familiar with your wedding plans, usually 1-2 meetings are needed to go through the itinerary. I will request to see information that has been discussed with vendors over the last couple months of planning. Contact via email and phone will be the main communication outside of the 2 meetings (within a 4 week time frame).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
San Jose State University Graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Hospitality Tourism and Event Management
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I still remember the day I decided to make this life a reality. I was 30,000 ft above sea level (obviously traveling!) & headed out on my next adventure. It was in that airplane that I felt the spark & the sudden gain of confidence I needed to make my own dreams come true. While doing what I love most, HOMETOWN GATHERINGS was created. I love that I can use my talents & connect with like minded couples to build such unique experiences. Over the years working in the wedding industry I have seen way to many of the same cookie cutter weddings in the same California wedding venues. Hometown Gatherings was created with the sole intent of helping those out of the box lovers, the risk takers and couples who thrive on authentically bringing their wildest and most daring wedding dreams to life.
