Some of the best if not THE best catering service I have ever received. Marisa went above and beyond to cater for my Birthday party for about 16 people. The food was amazing, presentation was flawless, and the best part was that there was so much food, I got to keep some leftovers. ALL of the food we had received was packed full of flavor and left everyone asking for seconds, if not thirds, and at the end of the meal, everyone was licking their fingers. Had the privlage of having Marisa be our private chef for a weekend in Lake Tahoe. She provided some amazing meals! Absolutley everything we had was very satisfying, real homecooked styled meals with tunes of flavor. Nothing we had was bland or boring. She makes veggies taste Amazing! Marisa has provided catering for several parties of mine, from intimate fine dining (herb and garlic prime rib roast) to parties of 50+ (build your own taco bar). Everytime she is spot on with the menus, tailoring it for different audiences. I just give her a general idea and she makes the magic happen! She has always been professional, prompt and friendly. Her food is delicious and I highly recommend all the meals she has made for me. I have had almost everything from vegetarian meals and salads to bbq and desserts. Very talented chef!Nov 23, 2016
Marisa and her team did an OUTSTANDING job catering an entire weekend worth of meals for my friend's 30th birthday party. The food was creative and, more importantly, DELICIOUS! - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Since I offer so many services, my pricing is based on the event. Private chef and meal prep is priced differently than catering; but my minimum is $200.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to get the customer request and come up with a great menu that fits your event. I am more than willing to stay within a budget if you already have one in mind. After that, I try to make sure the event goes off without a hit and start all over again. I like to get to know my customer as much as possible as well so that I can make choices I know my customer will like.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been trained by a master chef of France; worked under him for 3 years. After that, I worked at Bon Appetit for large corporate companies as a chef manager for 3 years.
