We first met Casey at San Cristobal Rehab Center in Taos-our son was in their 90 day program. Casey was clear, knowledgable and firm in both his communication and desire in helping our son to understand the pitfalls of drug abuse and what it takes to attempt to recover and live a meaningful life. He was very helpful to my wife and I in getting us to understand the addict, addiction, and how our enabling will only serve to prolong the disease and not help our son to get sober. My best Casey compliment I can give is that through all the years, he is one of our most important and trusted people we continue to seek advise and guidance from when we feel at wits end or need reassurance that we are doing the right thing sometimes by doing nothing at all. We would highly recommend him for addicts and families dealing with the disease of addiction in their lives, Thanks Rob

I work on a sliding scale.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost, I see what a new client wants to get from counseling so that I can help them meet their goals. The first two or three sessions thus involve us getting to know each other and obtaining enough information to make an informed start. There is paperwork to be completed before the first session, of course, which also helps to lay the groundwork for effective counseling.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Associates Degree in Chemical Dependency Bachelors Degree in Addiction Counseling Master of Social Work Working in the field since 2007 Regularly invited to present at colleges, hospitals, and staff trainings.
