FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fair pricing for a top-quality finished product! High level of craftsmanship in every detail, including masterful stone work and plant care. "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten."
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, an introductory phone call to learn more about the project. Second, a visit to the property/site for measurements and to see the existing landscape. Third, we can draw up an estimate for the project and send it to the prospective client via e-mail and follow up by phone.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Marin Master Gardener. This rigorous training program covers all aspects of plants, pests, soil, irrigation, pruning, and the importance of our community and its role in being a steward of the land, conserving water and minimizing the impact of our activity on the ecosystem. I have a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts. Over time I have developed a keen eye for aesthetic...in the landscape this plays out with color, shadow, texture and movement...where the eye is drawn. Color palette is arranged with trees, plants, flowers, stone, wood, and mulch.
