I definitely recommend Off Leash K9 Training! My dog had a very high pray drive, ran after everything that moved and would not listen to anything. We had gone to another trainer that taught treat training but this only worked until there was something worth more then the treat. With the help of Off Leash K9 Training my dog no longer runs after anything and listens to every command no problem, off leash and in any situation. I love that I can take her anywhere! Trainers are nice and always helpful. Worth every penny!

My three year old border collie, Koli, was so over protective and snippy around strangers and other dogs I was scared to take her places. But after working with Kasey & Erin she now has the tools to know what to do and how to behave appropriately in new environments. Not only did they train Koli they trained me too. I now know what I need to do to make Koli feel more confident in herself. Kasey & Erin taught her the standard lessons, but they also worked specifically with her learning to be around strangers and other dogs. Koli and I now enjoy going places and she has learned to avoid strangers when she is overwhelmed instead of snapping.

I bought my dog Luna from a shelter 2 years ago and because she was already two years old, training her was a challenge for me. We did 2 rounds of Petsmart training with not much to show for the price and time put in. Even when she learned commands she was very stubborn and wouldn’t always listen. When I decided to try Off Leash K9 Training, and decided to board-and-train, I was nervous. My dog was notorious for being disobedient and I didn’t know how effective she’d be without me there. I came back to a dog who was not only obedient, but very happy as well! I think Luna and I both realized we had much more fun on our walks off leash and she finally seemed like she understood what I needed from her, leaving me stress free. Erin, her trainer, was very helpful at teaching me how to use the remote and to praise Luna when she was doing things correctly. I am so thankful to Off Leash for giving my dog the skills and tools to be obedient, and for the new and improved relationship we now have!! I would highly recommend the board-and-train option!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
10% discount to active and retired military with proof of ID. 10% discount on your second dog 20% discount for your third dog on
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson is a meeting where we get to know you and your dog, we explain the training process and then we train your dog for about 45 min then the last 15 we show you how to work with your dog. Then all week you work on that command and the next week we start a new command.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our trainers receive training at our head quarters in Virginia where we work with over 100 dogs. We then return and do board and trains with our own personal dogs which gets reviewed to ensure our quality of work is high enough. Combined we have trained over 500 dogs.
