What a horrible experience. We saved for years for a remodel. Met Bob and thought we had the right guy! Boy did we get this one wrong. Bob quit communicating with us about a week before the job was to be done. Nothing completed, not even demo. We hired him to do a FULL Bathroom, FULL Kitchen remodel and to drywall a back room. He hired a project manager who came in and did his best to make up for what had already been done wrong. He gave us a new finish date. Still was 2 weeks past new date and I had to call them everyday to see if they were coming or not. Each step of the way was a nightmare. We had to walk thru everyday and point out things (obvious things) and make them fix them. From trying to put a bathtub on a rotted floor to simple painting jobs. I would say go somewhere else. If you do choose to hire Bob make sure you have every little detail in writing. We had to pay for several things that he had agreed to include in the bid. Workers came and went as they pleased. Did not show for days at a time. Left parts of floor and wall with nails poking through for almost a week. Mind you we have a dog and 2 year old that was having to walk through this. The whole project that was scheduled for 5 weeks ended up taking 3 months. Still never got quality work. Still things we have to have them come back and fix. We did our homework, we thought. After we hired found reviews reflecting his true business practices all over the internet. Like never calling again. Poor quality work and just plain dis honest. Pick someone else, you will thank us who have tried to warn you through reviews. The MOST Financially, Physically and Mentally Exhausting 3 months of our lives. Wish we would have done ourselves or hired individual contractors instead of getting STUCK with this joker.

VERY FLAKY!!! We actually didn't hire Bob. He was horrible at contacting us. As soon as he gave us his bid he no longer followed through After we told him we'd hire him. He would commit to calling us back and we'd never hear back. He is definitely cutting his own throat by being unreliable. I would not reccomend this man.

As I recall. I had contacted you to let you know we had scheduled a technician out to start work the following morning. When I explained that the top coat / smooth wall application for the bid provided did not include the sanding and sealing you said you would check with your husband and get back to me. I did not receive a reply. Therefore, I did not send my technician out. Instead, I receive a negative review from you.

Bob was awesome to work with. He met with me the same day I put in the request for a quote and was able to take care of our small demo job the next day. He was very professional with his work, quick with the job and left no messes behind. I also really appreciated that he gave us the same quality work and care regardless of the size of our project. His quote was very reasonable for the size and what needed done and I am sure we will be giving him a call in the future as projects arise.

What a great experience! Bob completed everything on time and without complications. He had made recommendation on some changes during our project evaluation. He has renewed our faith in working with a general contractor. We were hesitant to move forward because of the proposal amount. It was more than we had initially budgeted for. The end result is well worth the investment. I highly recommend Sierra Home Services to anyone looking to make improvements in their home.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project requires a certain level of expertise to complete. One size does not fit all. Your project may require less prep work or may be partially completed before we are called in to complete your project. Therefore there is no standard set price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I introduce myself. Share accomplishments and experience of Sierra Home Services. We will discuss your needs, I'll share some recommendations. Materials and costs will be discussed. Then the scope of work and scheduling will be arranged if we decide to move forward together on your project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Osha Certified Safety Compliant Certified General contractor. Licensed in Utah for all aspects of building and remodeling.
