FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When it comes to working with a new client, my goal is to make sure that they feel confident that I am the right fit for their venue. I know that event planning can be stressful and as a performer, I strive to ensure that my client has no reservations about their choice to hire me. I start by getting as much information about the event to make sure that both my set list and appearance are tailored to that specific crowd. I also am always available and respond quickly to my client for any last minute updates they may have for me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For my musical education, I am mostly self-taught but during middle school I attended a performing arts school where I honed my guitar playing abilities. I currently also offer guitar lessons and have 12 years of experience in preforming.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was 10 years old, I found my mother's long forgotten acoustic guitar in a closet and began teaching myself to play using a poster with chords on it. From there, I asked my fifth grade music teacher if I could perform at my fifth grade graduation, in front of the crowd of around 700 parents and students. The performance went well and I realized just how much I loved sharing my music with people. Ever since, I have been performing at a large variety of venues from open air concerts to corporate fundraisers and events.
