FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have loose brackets that I try to stay in, however, I understand that each situation is different so I try to price on the needs of my clients. Some are more, some are less.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in fine art photography while I lived in Italy, I would take pictures of sweeping views, tiny doors, pathways and then all of a sudden, something clicked in me and I began to photograph people. It has slowly grown into the formal business I have now, but I still love taking friends' photos for fun. I capture their details, their wrinkles, the flecks in their eyes, the bends of their hair... eventually all of my professional shoots turn into how I would photograph a friend. I love those intimate, up close, totally vulnerable shots.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently did an anniversary shoot for a couple. We traveled to a handful of different locations so that added time to the shoot, however the time behind camera was a combined hour and a half.
