- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To get started working with someone to help them with their English, I normally begin with a written assessment test followed by an oral interview to see what areas the person would like to focus on. Next, I will work with that person to collaborate on a plan for moving forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters degree in teaching English as a Second Language and a BS degree in Broadcast Journalism
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve always loved languages, interacting with people from different countries and travel so becoming an ESL instructor was a natural fit for me. As for my other career – – writing – – my journalism degree coupled with my natural curiosity pushed me into writing travel and other types of articles.
