Introduction: I have been working with animals since 2006. The joy that I can get from animals makes me going everyday. I personally have rescued Boston Terrier and German Shepard as my own pets. My German Shepard is a national registered therapy dog and R. E. A. D. dog and we enjoy the therapy visits. both pups enjoy hiking with me. We love exploring different places. Recently moved from Atlanta, GA. My clients have seen how much I enjoy working with animals and I would be more than happy to provide the reference upon the request for you. I am looking forward to building up my clients here in Bay area. I have a broad experience of working with animals especially dogs. I started my career by working at open environment dog daycare/boarding facility and learned dog training. I trained from police detection dogs, precious pets to service dogs. I am also a AKC CGC(Canine Good Citizen) and Community Canine(advanced CGC) test evaluator. If you are interested in taking those tests, I can arrange that for you. In addition, I recently gained more knowledge in medical side of animals by working at vet's office with vets and vet technicians. I am comfortable with all dogs, cats and ferrets. Any visits will include complimentary picture text or email if you wish so you will get your pet's update. In addition, I will set up a complimentary first meeting. I love the moment that they are so happy to see me when I come over to their places.

Phoebe is an animal behavior miracle worker and the best in the industry as far as I m concerned! I cannot say enough good things about working with her! In fact, I don t think words could do justice to how highly I regard her and how positively impact she has been to my life and my family (dog-children included, of course!)! I have two German Shepherd Dogs who are the loves of my life, but they can certainly be a handful without proper training, reinforcement and care. When I first met Phoebe, I only had my female GSD, Ranger, who was about 1yr old at the time and she owned me , so to speak (completely my fault). Thankfully, Phoebe was able to correct some of Ranger s bad behavior s (again, my fault), train me on being a good leader, and get her basic obedience in check, all while maintaining Ranger s personality and attitude . Soon after Phoebe began working with Ranger, my family decided to get a second GSD, Stryker. This time, we worked with Phoebe throughout the entire process of obtaining a new dog, i.e., selecting the right breeder; puppy testing to choose a puppy with the best temperament for my family; selecting a great veterinarian; proper nutrition and supplements; preventing injuries; choosing safe toys; socializing the new puppy; and, introducing the new puppy to the family and to my other dog, Ranger. Once Stryker was old enough, Phoebe trained him extensively and he is now just about the perfect dog, a gentle giant! I now get compliments almost daily on the behavior of my dogs during walks, but to be completely honest, if my dogs were not as well-trained, I probably wouldn't be able to walk them at all. Finally, to top it all off, Phoebe is just a great human being with a work ethic like no other. She has stayed in my home several times with my dogs for extended periods of time and not only have I always returned to clean, better-behaved dogs, but also to an immaculate house! I am pleased to tell you about my experience with Phoebe. She is a gift from God. Phoebe helped me with my puppy, Lizzy. Lizzy is a Havanese that joined our family in January 2014. I needed someone to help me train her to become a good citizen and neighbor. My older Havanese, Lottie, and Lizzy needed walks everyday and Phoebe was wonderful. She gave them training, exercise and love. I had a ankle replacement therefore I am not capable of good long walks with my girls. I trust Phoebe!! She is perfect! The girls and I love her, we miss her so much. She has become an important part of our family. We miss her so much. Her happy, calm personality draws dogs and humans to her. I definitely recommend Phoebe.. Our loss is your gain.

Phoebe has been an absolute joy to work with. She takes our dog out usually twice a week for some play/adventure time. She proactively finds new places to take him especially if the parks dont many dogs for him to play with. I get picture updates every time she takes him out, she's captured some great shots of him in action. Phoebe has been extremely trust worthy. I know that our boy is in good hands. There was an unfortunate situation at a dog park, where another dog was being aggressive toward our dog, she kept him safe and took him away from that surrounding. She even bought him treats and a toy, shes extremely thoughtful! She is also very knowledgeable about dogs in general and training methods. Id be happy to discuss my experience with Phoebe to any potential clients.

We were lucky to meet Phoebe right around the same time we brought home Champ, our yellow lab, when he was eight weeks old. Phoebe has been great dog sitting Champ ever since he was a pup during times when we're at work all day to times when we are away for several days. She has helped socialize Champ with her own two dogs and now takes Champ on group adventure hikes twice a week. It's very easy to see that Phoebe loves dogs which always makes us feel comfortable when she's caring for Champ. We see Champ also enjoys his time with Phoebe. Overall, Phoebe has really helped us ensure Champ is cared for and receives a lot of exercise by filling-in those gaps when we're not around. She's definitely a trustful, dependable and flexible person to call when we need help caring for Champ.

Phoebe B trained our German Shepard dog and of all the trainers we have used she made the most progress in helping the dog to become more comfortable with different people and situations. She also took care of both our dogs and the dogs are very excited when they see Phoebe. Phoebe is very personable, open, and patient. We liked her a lot and had she not moved away from our area, we would continue to have her train and care for our dogs. She is also a very sincere and nice person! Would highly recommend her.

I always set up a complimentary first meeting for the new clients. That way you and your pets have have a chance to meet me and ask me any questions in person. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I set up a complimentary first meet first. That way clients and their pets have a chance to meet me and ask me any questions in person. There is no hurt feeling if you feel that I am not the one for you. It is complimentary so you don't have to pay me anything for the travel or time. Typically I will travel to clients' houses. However, if you feel comfortable meeting me in public places, I am fine as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have learned various training methods and techniques from various experienced trainers. I have experience working with police canines, service dogs and pets. Scent work(detection, trailing work, invisible disability service dog work) is something I am very familiar with and enjoy working. I am an evaluator of Canine Good Citizen from AKC as well as Community Canine test and Star Puppy. I also volunteer and work with my dog(registered therapy dog with three national organizations) for therapy dog events.
