Marele did a maternity shoot for me in 2014 before the birth of my first child. I was worried about feeling self-conscious in front of the camera, but Marele made it easy. She took care of all the details including picking a location (one I would never have thought of, but which made for beautiful pictures), advising me on hair and make-up and wardrobe. The photos came out beautifully and the experience of posing was made easy by and comfortable by Marele's directions, which never felt critical.
More recently she took some pictures of myself and my almost 2-year old for 4th of July. A wiggly 2-year old is not an easy target and she was very patient, including breaks for snacks and accommodating her desire to ride the bench like a horsey! I love the happy pictures we got out the session. I'm pregnant with my second child and will definitely be booking another maternity shoot if schedule permits.

Marele has been photographing my daughter and family since 2011. She has captured the most intimate moments on camera, and if needed, edited them to perfection. From San Francisco, San Diego, to San Jose, I would recommend her for any event, occasion, or lifestyle shoot.

My family had a photo shoot at Alum Rock Park with Marele when she was still pregnant with her third child. Even with 6th month of pregnant, she was even more energetic than us!! With two kids, it was not easy since one kept running away, however, she was very patient and tried to capture the moment even when he was trying to go out of her angle. :) During the photo shoot, she never looked at her watch which means she didn't hurry us when we had to take some time off from time to time to feed the kids.
It was an amazing and pleasant experience with her and we'd like to do it again for sure!!
