Thank you for your feedback Jolene. Therapy is a two way street. It only works when we both do our parts, so a lot of credit goes to you for putting effort into it. Thanks again. Dr. K

Thank you so much for your review Shannon. It's great to know that my clients enjoy their sessions. Your satisfaction brings me joy.
Dr. Alex Karimi spoke at a workshop that my company attended last month. I've been to various speaking engagements, and listened to many motivational speeches in my life, but Dr. K really presented us with great techniques and tools for managing and attaining goals. Many of my colleges and myself continue to talk about what we learned from Dr. K's speech. Thank you Dr. Karimi for bringing your wisdom into our lives.Jun 15, 2018Alex K.'s reply
Thank you for your comment, Joseph, and thank you for inviting me to speak at your company quarterly meeting. I look forward to visiting your company again in February. Dr. K

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? In my profession the standard charge is $150 per 45 minutes session. I personally do not believe there's much we can achieve during 45 minutes. My sessions are designed to be 75 minutes and my charge remains at $150. This also gives my clients email access to me at anytime when they need help. I usually email pretty quickly. And sometime an email is all they need. I also have a sliding scale for those who have financial restrains.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I usually get to know a little about my new clients, and their reason for contacting me, on the phone when they call to make an appointment. During the first session we spend about 10-15 minutes getting to know each other and the problem at hand. Next we start finding solutions. These are solutions that best suit the client's lifestyle, and goals. We make lists of what we need to achieve during the treatment period. This can be anywhere from 4 to 16 weeks depending on what we're trying to achieve. Assignments are given out to the clients and we work together to make sure they get done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Apart from my background in the Electronics and Aerospace Industry, I also hold a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. In addition I also hold a PhD in General Psychology, currently working on a dissertation on early age marriage. I spent part of my internship working with clients suffering with addictions. The other part of my internship was spent with Trauma and Domestic Violence. The final part of my internship was spent working with couples and relationship problems. This later became my full-time career. Today I work as a part of a small therapy group in Santa Clarita where we provide services to the local residents and those who live close-by.
