My whole life I knew I was destined to be a documenter of the human experience - but I had always considered myself a writer. For the first time in my life, at the end of my college career and as part of my journalism minor, I focused on visual story telling and picked up a camera. I haven't been able to put it down. When I started freelancing as a music journalist, I picked up my camera again to have more control in the flow of my stories and the experience of reading one of my articles. I wanted to talk about my angles and the shots I made more than anyone else's. When I started getting recognized for my visual efforts over my written words, I realized I had tapped into something. I dove headfirst into this new form of expression and have helped others unlock the magic that they recognize in a way that's widely visible. Now, I want to tell YOUR stories. I love imprinting memories on a photograph, and I want you to always have a method for returning to that mood.
