What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Absolutely not! At Extraordinary Weddings, we plan, design, and manage your wedding or event. We can be involved in just one area or you can have us take the lead on every aspect of the event. The most important thing is that you will be part of every decision and we have checkpoints to make sure that we are on always on track.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every client is unique. Our first step is to listen to the clients vision and then see what elements need to be done to make that vision come alive.
We believe truly memorable events often start with a bang and provide stellar service throughout the event. In the end, if the guests aren't raving about the festivities, then we haven't done our job. We carefully craft every aspect of your event to ensure your guests are talking about it long after the event is over.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have twenty+ years experience and have traveled worldwide in the event and travel planning space and would love to work with you on your project.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
This is just something that I have loved doing forever! I am fortunate that I have a mind that is very detailed oriented and I always want to do something different.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with all sorts of brides and grooms and we can say that every wedding was absolutely unique. Some needed very little help and others left all the details to our team.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We just planned an amazing wedding for a couple that had a strong vision of what they wanted. They had the venue picked out and we did the rest! We had a spectacular tent, band, dancers and some of the best locally grown cuisine. It was an amazing day!
I recently completed an event for a nonprofit called The Beautiful Mind Foundation. I booked the event space and negotiated the contract which included the catering and event staff. Additionally I designed, created and printed a magazine that was included in the gift bag given to the attendees. The event was a success and far exceeded their donation goal. We made this event happen in less than 3 weeks!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
In the end, you have only one opportunity to provide a lasting impression for your guests. The event not only needs to seamless but also needs to represent your vision appropriately.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What is your vision for your special day? Is the company that you are trusting the implementation of this vision listening to every detail?
