- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I either work on an hourly basis or on a flat fee basis. After our home visit, where we discuss your wishes and the scope of your work, I am able to offer you an estimate of billable time needed to complete your project. This includes all design work, sourcing materials, creating CAD documents, product specifications, visiting the jobsite for walkthroughs, client appointments, re-selections, detailed drawings, and visiting showrooms.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
THE SIMPLE STEPS TO YOUR BEAUTIFUL SPACE Step 1 - Free Introductory Phone Consultation In this step we discuss the goals of your project to develop a clear understanding of your design objectives and the scope of work required. We will also cover your style, budget and timeline. Step 2 - Home Visit Initial Consultation During this meeting in your home, we discuss the scope of work, offer creative design solutions, discuss preliminary budgets and timelines, paint colors, and take measurements and photographs of the space(s). After the home visit, if we decide to move the project along together, we draw up a formal proposal document that defines the scope of work and estimated costs of the project. Step 3 - Presentation We will present and discuss our design plans for your property, this may or may not include: concept boards, fabric and paint palettes, CAD drawings, furniture plans and layouts, material and finish selections. Visual renderings can also be done to help visualize the spaces. Once a concept design and layout has been agreed, we will start working on detailed costings for the project ensuring the design meets your budget and timeline. Step 4 - Delivery and Installation We arrange for all goods to be stored until needed for our first installation, (delivery of goods to your home) then we go live with the construction, building and decorating. Regular site meetings are set up during this phase to oversee construction workers, perform project reviews and complete final the walk-through after installations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to obtaining a BFA from O'More College of Design, I have completed additional studies at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida.
