Bill helped me design my master bedroom. He was very creative in his thinking and listened to what I had in mind but was able to stretch my thinking in different directions at times. We were both fairly eclectic in our thinking and did not stay with one particular style . He was thoughtful and offered many options while at the same time did not impose his thoughts but rather offered them as alternatives to me.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Usual process involves a complimentary in-store meeting or phone consultation. Then client has options to purchase our customized Designer Program packages starting as low as $299 for up to 5 hours of design time services. Choose from a wide range of services such as Style and Budget consultation, Space Planning, Color Palette Assistance, Furniture Selection, personal shopping assistance and many others.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typical process involves a complimentary in-store design consultation meeting at the Scott Shuptrine Interiors Gallery located inside our Art Van Schaumburg or Downers Grove studio locations. During this meeting we will also tour the beautiful room settings on display in our Gallery to explore decorating ideas and interests. After our in-store meeting we then set up an in-home consultation appointment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Have worked in the home furnishings, window treatments and interiors industry for more than 25 years. Completed my Interior Planning Degree work while working full time. Graduated from Illinois Institute of Art, Chicago. Attended numerous industry training events and industry seminars.
