- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Defining 'typical' pricing is difficult in our line of work. Every situation we see is different and needs to be evaluated in person before a quote can be written. For example, you contact us and need a quote on four cameras with a DVR, installed for your business. Giving a price over the phone or online without knowing the scope of the work involved is impossible. Specifically, for the purpose of this example, a typical video surveillance system offers many different choices. These choices include the type/quality of cameras, amount of wiring, type/quality of recording systems, etc. It would be like calling a shoe store and asking, 'how much is a size 11?'. It just doesn't work. We give fair upfront pricing in writing, in person. For our residential customers we offer a 20% or it's free guarantee. What does this mean for you? If you receive a written price quote from one of our competitors, just show it to us prior to finalizing your order and we will beat their price on comparable equipment by 20% or you get it for free. For our commercial clients we offer a full price match guarantee. If you have a written price quote for equipment we will match the price on the installation and products of comparable equipment prior to finalizing your install.
