Introduction: At Move Strong Training, we believe that fitness should be functional for your life, which means learning how to move better while you build muscle and lose fat. We are passionate about finding new ways to help the body move the way it was born to move, and we hope to teach all of our clients that their bodies are capable of more than they realized. When you work with us, the emphasis will always be on you. We'll design an individual program that is tailored to your body and your goals. So whether you want to get your first pull-up, run a marathon, or have the energy to play with your kids, let us teach you how to move strong. Rachel Randall, the owner of Move Strong Training, is a certified personal trainer with NASM and has taught classes in weightlifting, kickboxing, and rock climbing. She is also certified in corrective exercise with NASM CES and FMS. Whatever your fitness goals, Rachel can help get you there safely and effectively. Rachel started out her working life as a lawyer, until she realized she needed to spend her time doing something she was passionate about. Rachel's love of rock climbing and other outdoor sports led her to a career where she could help others find what motivated them to become stronger, faster, healthier, and happier in their own skin. Now, Rachel takes great joy in spending her time teaching people how strong they can be.

Rachel has been a hugely motivating force in my personal fitness. She's pushed me to find flow in my workouts and transformed my perspective on how I connect and feel in my body, challenge myself physically, and perceive my own abilities. I'm delighted with the strength -- physical and mental -- I've built with her support, and I'm excited to see which goals we conquer together next! I personally love how Rachel gives fierce, detailed, and loving individual attention in each session. Her focus and creativity have made this experience a joy and the investment very worthwhile. I highly recommend Rachel for anyone looking for a top-notch coach to change the game mentally and physically when it comes to fitness.

Rachel’s approach to personal training embodies what in my view, “personal” training should be. She took an immediate interest in mine and my partner’s goals, asked both of us to tell her about lifestyle specific to food and physical activity, tested each of our range of motion to identify strengths and weaknesses then explained how we would work on reaching each of our individual goals together. We have been training with Rachel weekly since August of 2015 and each training session has been well planned and executed. She has an intuitive sense for when and how hard to push in order to keep us focused on our goals and does so seamlessly even though we both had different areas of strength and weakness that require focus. Over the past 16 months, I personally have lost 35 pounds, developed much greater strength and stability in my entire body, improved my posture and gained much needed cardio health. My partner has lost 20 pounds developed very nice muscle tone and can now do pull-ups like we used to toss back cocktails...effortlessly. Rachel comes with our highest recommendation. She blends professionalism with a comforting personal touch without compromising the focus or intensity of each training session. If you are serious enough about your fitness health that you are considering a personal trainer, we strongly urge you to at the very least…meet with Rachel for a consultation. Best of luck Derek & Ben Seattle WA

I've been training with Rachel for three months, and she was improved my overall fitness, but the most remarkable improvement has been on my balance. stability I have a 20 year old ankle injury that had decreased my stability. I had to some degree given up on it. With Rachel's coaching my ankles are much stronger and no longer ache after workouts. Most recently I've been able to balance on a bosu ball without support for 2 minutes. I ner thought that would have been possible.

Rachel is approachable, reliable, and incredibly knowledgable about the body and how it moves. She is great at navigating around injuries and still maximizing your workout time, and she will do everything she can to help you achieve your fitness goals. Her workouts are both challenging and fun!

Rachel is great! Adapted to my years of non-exercise with a manageable program. I have biceps for the first time in, well, ever!
