Introduction: Since I was a child, I have been interpreting for my parents and family members. In college, I received formal training in academic Spanish and have masters in Hispanic studies with a focus on Baroque Spanish Literature. I love the Spanish language and wish to share my joy and passion for this magnificent language either through translating, interpreting, editing, and/or giving Spanish classes.
I am also DSHS certified to translate and interpret.
I like being a language bridge among different people and if I can help, I will. I think it is important to know the audience for which you are working for and thus, know how to talk to each audience personally.
For example: If you are talking to the Latinx community, find out what is the country represented and what their needs are. Formal peninsular Spanish does not work here, only if you are thinking of publishing in Madrid.
