About this pro
Took guitar and voice lessons with Skyler, I learned an incredible amount in a short time. He definitely knows his stuff and comes to lessons with a lot of enthusiasm and passion.May 27, 2016
Skyler is an amazing guitar teacher! He taught my son (early teens) for two years in Ellensburg, Washington. Not only is Skyler an incredible musician who really knows his music theory, but he is encouraging, patient and knows how to motivate and get the most out of his students. He has a special "teacher" quality about him, which not all musicians do. My son excelled while taking lessons from him, and his enthusiasm for playing guitar and appreciation for new types of music dramatically increased, too. The only reason our lessons with him ended is because Skyler moved to Seattle. Take lessons from this guy!! You won't regret it!May 21, 2016
Skyler is an amazing player and an amazing teacher. Without him, there's no way I could have been accepted to Berklee College of Music. He introduced me to music theory, the world of jazz, and so much more. I have wonderful memories of the time I spent learning from Skyler. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to take their playing and knowledge to the next level.May 19, 2016
I have hired and depended on Skyler for guitar, bass, piano and vocals on any amount of notice to write, record or perform just he and I in a room with a mic or in front of a crowd of hundreds. Point being, he's versatile and delivers. The same consistent musicality is what he offers through his teaching. I've learned how to be better at every aspect of music working with him, from the technical aspect to simply enjoying playing and listening more. Highly recommendMay 12, 2016
Every musical opportunity I have shared with Skyler Mehal has been a positive one. He is a professional that is true to his craft. A genuine, kind soul and a pleasure to work with. I have learned so much from him over the years, and I will continue to do so.May 7, 2016
