I was in desperate need for hair and makeup artist for my maternity shoot and came across Thanh here on thumbtack. I messaged her and she responded right away and addressed all concerns I had. On day of the shoot she arrived on time (actually even 10 mins before) and did my makeup and hair exactly the way I wanted. I'm south asian(Indian) so I was very hesitant wondering if she would be able to do good job on my facial features and hair since her previous work dint have pictures of women of color but let me tell you she did an amazing job. She is also very friendly and will make you feel comfortable and work with you till you are satisfied and also her price point is very reasonable too. I will post my picture for reference once I get it from my photographer. Overall, I would totally recommend her and will definitely will be hiring her for any of my future events.

The two advice I would give a customer when looking to hire a makeup artist and hair stylist is make sure that artist is passionate and request a trial. Photos might be shown after already been retouched, therefore it is important to see the work with your own eyes.
