If you can't install the equipment, don't offer to sell the client something else. Also, NEVER say to a client "don't cry". Would you say that to a male customer? It's insulting as I would never cry because of something as ridiculous as you not being able to install my router. If I looked like I was frowning it was because I was irritated and because I had a stroke which affects my face. (This review was written in a response to a service call by Network Fixes in February 2017) UPDATE: 4-22-18 Network Fixes responded on April 22, 2018 to my review written about a service call that occurred in February 2017: In response to Network Fixes response to my review: You say "...I cannot be sure I provided on-site service to this person. What I do know about this review is this: a) it does not reflect how I interact, b) does not reflect all of the other reviews that are all five star (at the time of this writing), c) I don't know who this person is (and Thumbtack won't tell me) and d) the scenario never happened." Let me assure you that you personally did provide on-site service and the scenario did in fact happen as described. I paid for 2 hours of your time. Check your records for February 6, 2017 - you personally were in my home and you have all of my contact information. Additionally, I stand by my review. You state that you "have never and would never say (don't cry)" to a customer. You did say that to me. It had quite an impact on me and I remember it clearly. And you did offer to sell me a piece of your equipment. Additionally, you did not fix my problem, you were unable to install my new router, and when you attempted to re-hook up my old system, it no longer worked. I had to hire another provider to get my equipment working again. I can understand why you are unhappy with my 2 star review. I'm unhappy paying for nothing. You don't remember it (it was over a year ago) but I do as it was a very upsetting interaction. I have not mistaken you for a different provider. Your email response to me also states that Thumbtack suggested that you apologize. Rather than do that, you essentially called me a liar, said you hadn't been to my home, and didn't check your calendar. Perhaps the next time you have a dissatisfied customer, rather than responding by saying you were never at their home, you should at a minimum check your calendar.Apr 23, 2018Verified
I used Thumbtack to find someone to help my client get his laptop and printer up and running. Bruce was the first to respond and did a great job of fixing 3 problems and working with my client. My client just moved into a new apartment and was totally frustrated that he couldn't get his set-up to work. Bruce provided quick service and spent time showing him how things worked which I appreciated. I highly recommend Bruce and I'm sure my client will continue to use his services.Jun 10, 2017Verified
Bruce was very accommodating, solved my hard drive issue, and advised well on other matters. Thanks! I will definitely call him again.Nov 23, 2016Verified

I had a great experience working with network fixes. Bruce was very professional and quick to respond to questions. He even stayed a little bit longer to troubleshoot my home wifi installation when the router I had bought did not appear to be working. I am very satisfied with the work he did and would hire him again.Jul 13, 2017
