Introduction: Ian Hughes has a decade of experience performing, recording, and teaching music, of many genres and skill levels. He specializes in solo electric guitar performance, and groove, jazz, and soul ensembles, as well as being an excellent teacher for all ages.
I love to play and teach music, I've done so as my main profession for a good 10 years now. I love providing background or ceremony music for events.
I have a healthy studio of 20+ kids and young adults. After some basics are covered I prefer to meet the student at their interest level as opposed to pushing my own agenda. I love when the student has an interest in a specific genre, artist, or set of songs that we can really dig in to.

Ian played an acoustic set for a private event and was fantastic at setting just the right mood for the room. Ian's communication was great throughout the process and we received a ton of compliments on his performance.
