Introduction: I would say read the reviews. To build a company and be successful it takes a goal. My goal is to build the best-known Handyman service in the Northwest. To be known as the best, and fairest. How can we stay at 5 stars is something I think about all day. We can do anything on a house or business. I choose more common jobs, and choose to do them uncommonly well! The change. The handyman part is always something new, so it fends off repetition. Fences and decks are so much of a change to the homeowner. The excitement of a job well done, and a happy customer make it worthwhile.

They remodeled our downstairs. It was a month and a 1/2 project. It went great. I'd recommend doing business with them. They have also built a fence, and put a bathroom in my auto shop.

Brett has done numerous jobs for me. I own multiple tenet residences in the Seattle area. He has done a lot of different things. Lots of plumbing, electrical. He built a 450 ft cedar fence this summer for my son's house in Enumclaw. I have had nothing bad happen, and all my tenants seem to like him. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I don't really have a lot of pictures, just one from earlier today. He put in a new kitchen cabinet, sink, disposal.

Brett was easy to get ahold of and was very responsive via texting. He came out to take a look at our leaking window and said it would be an easy fix. He explained what was wrong and what needed to be done and gave a quote. We scheduled a date for him to come back and fix it. The day of, he had to move the time back a couple hours due to a family emergency. Totally understandable. Later that day, he said he had to cancel because he couldn't make it that day after all. We rescheduled for a couple days later. I confirmed the time with Brett the night before, and he said he would be there. The day of, we got no calls or texts from him and he never showed up. Haven't heard from him since. We now have to find somebody else to fix the leak.

The project was tiling at first, but we decided to do the whole bathroom. Definitely picked the right guy for the job. With all the stories you hear about dishonest contractors, and scams, it was refreshing to be put together by thumbtack with Brett Jorgenson. Brett and a few of his guys remodeled our bathroom in three days. They were on time, respectful of the rest of the house, and simply put amazing! When replacing the tub he pointed out dry rot that was going to have to be removed. As any homeowner I thought " to good to be true" Here is the catch etc. They cut out the floor, and replaced it. My final bill reflected a 30.00 dollar additional amount. I was expecting alot more. He told me he had to charge me something, and 30 seemed like a good number. Lol. He winked and said Merry Christmas! They spent about three hours, and material costs. I'm super happy with the project, the cost, and will work with them only in the future. A customer for life!

Well I left a good review for Brett on a small electrical job he did. I still stand by it. However, Brett did push to get a remodel/ restoration job from me on one of my rentals. His pricing was fair, so I decided to try him on the first phase to see how he worked. Well If you want to know how many excuse someone can come up with, Hire Brett and Builders! Wrong tools...ill be back, my guy did not show up, i have a emergency call, sorry i'm running late, i have to drive to seaside ill be there when i return. etc. etc. Finally he did not even show up as promised and no phone call. Really disappointed in him as a professional and a person. I wont be using him again! But if you want to see how many excuses a person can have. I would definitely hire Brett to learn how many excuses can be made.

This is crazy! I turned down more work because they have had me their using this as a blackmail tool. I only did one job for them. that's why there are 5 stars. Nothing else. this guy is a drunk jerk. I would ban him from Thumbtack!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes we do. You will see it in my qoutes. We do such a wide spectrum that each is different. I think fencing is our only concrete price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Honestly I dont have a system. I do work for big companies, and put in garbage disposals. fix a leak, build a fence, deck,bathtubs, flooring, etc. My bids are my word.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years of learning. I am 45 years old, and have made it a point to be a master in my craft. My craft is building, fixing, and finding affordable ways to fix them. I have rental houses, and completely understand every aspect of them. I am better and more affordable than almost everyone out there. action is where its at. Talk is cheap. Its hard to get reviews on thumbtack when your new. I have posted pictures of work I have done, but I assure you that there is nothing I cant do involving a house or business.
