I fell in love with doing photography from the moment I bought my first camera. During a shoot one of my favorite things to do is learn about my client. Everybody has a different story and telling that story is my goal. I love the feeling of taking a beautiful piece of our extraordinary planet and saving it for the world to see. I see beauty in everything and I believe my goal as a photographer is to find it and put it out for others to see.

Jesse Alvarado was a tremendous photographer. He was considerate about scheduling, making sure that it would work for myself and I was able to make it to the photo shoot site. His style of picture taking was great, asking for input from me how I would like to be photographed, whether I preferred my glasses on or off (we ended up doing both), and what setting that I preferred. Jesse also had in mind quite a bit of different poses, angles, and places he wanted to try out--it was obvious that he had done his research and thought about what would make great photographs. While my face isn't the prettiest to look at, Jesse is a whiz at Photoshop and was able to smooth out blemishes and some odd environmental hindrances (a stick in the face abracadabra-ed out of the way). I would highly recommend Jesse Alvarado if you are someone looking to have their portrait taken in Seattle.

After putting off senior portraits due to my lack of desire to be photographed and heavy price tag asssociated with a senior shoot, I stumbled across Jesse's Facebook page. Impressed by the photographs displayed, I emailed Jesse and he quickly responded with an excellent price quote. For a fraction of the cost of other photographers, Jesse and I met in downtown Seattle for several hours and within the next week, I was emailed all of the edited pictures, which allowed me to print exactly what I wanted at Costco. The quality of my senior portraits surpasses the quality of the majority of senior portraits I have seen. Interested in photography myself, I have a picky eye when it comes to viewing another's photographs, but Jesse is diligent with angle, contrast, space, and most importantly, the comfort of his subject. I tend to feel/look awkward when being photographed, yet Jesse managed to make the shoot fun and not one pictures depicts me in an awkward pose! I highly reccomend Jesse to anyone who is seeking someone to capture a special moment in life--you will not be disappointed!

The pictures were very professional. There was a good balance of him letting us do what we wanted for each photo and him also using his expertise to make the shots amazing. He was very flexible and willing to go to the location we wanted. Very good experience and fabulouse photos!
